Parking is pretty limited and can be tight, especially during peak times. Breakfast setup seems a bit chaotic. I had to hunt for cups and sauces during my stay, which felt a bit unorganized. Plus, only one coffee machine made for a lengthy wait. The layout of the dining area leaves something to be desired, as I noted uncovered cold food sitting out, which isn’t the most appealing sight. it felt like the hotel was still working out its kinks, and some basic information about amenities would have been an added touch.

we had a lovely long weekend stay at mercure paignton, the sea view room was super nice and the view was amazin. location is perfect, just a few mins to shops and restaurants. breakfast was delicious and staff were really friendly. the bar area was great to chill in after a long day.

the mercure had an outstanding bed that gave us the best night's sleep ever. the classic room we stayed in was of high quality and delightfully situated near shops. the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the staff were friendly. parking was straightforward, albeit a bit pricey.

Nice spot, but needs some work

The hotel was okay for one night. My room had dog hair on the bed and dust on the headboard which was annoying. The fire alarm went off at 7am with no staff around to help. The bar area was nice though, had a decent drink. Bit pricey for what you get, honestly.
